Vail Marriot Mountain Resort and Spa

The Vail Marriott in Lionshead Village is only a three-minute walk from the Eagle Bahn Gondola.
Vail Views

The Vail Marriott at Lionshead Village is only a three-minute walk from the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Even though the hotel is a little sprawling and feels a little impersonal, the amenities, which include free coffee, ski storage and boot drying, and close proximity to great restaurants, make up for it. Try Ocotillo right in the hotel where the chef uses a special house-made chili rub on their steaks and chops prior to grilling. After dinner, try out one of the hotel’s three hot tubs or two pools. These hangout spots can be crowded during the high season, as can the bar and lobby. Overall, the Marriott is very reasonably priced, even during the high season, especially if you use Marriott Rewards points. If you don’t already have an account, open one up to get a free night’s stay the next time you visit Vail.
