Wachusett Mountain's new Mountain Suites bring the big-league sky box experience to the slopes. The 10 business suites are the brainchild of general manager David Crowley, who figured with Wachusett's proximity to Boston and I-495, Beantown's business community was an untapped market. So far, EMC, Cisco, and Fidelity have snatched up suites. Available at $50,000 per season or $350 per session (a full day or evening), the suites are located on the second floor of the base lodge, built last year. Each suite can accommodate up to 30 people in slopeside luxury. The suite menu includes such untraditional base-lodge fare as shrimp cocktail, chef-carved prime rib, and smoked salmon.
