Southwest Colorado's Durango Mountain Resort is expecting upwards of two to three feet of snow by Sunday, making their season total more than 14 feet. This weekend, the Styx Enduro Race is happening on Sunday, where two-person teams will race to complete the most laps up the Six Pack and down Styx. Also, starting March 1, Tamarron Lodge is offering $25 per person rates for lodging.

Boulder, CO, Oct. 11, 2000--Warren Miller Entertainment begins their second half-century of producing cutting-edge skiing and snowboarding films with RIDE. Premiering October through December, RIDE is no exception to Warren Miller's legacy of action-packed footage of the world's elite winter athletes.

Camera crews journey with skiers and snowboarders both near and far to capture the essence of winter adventure through limit-breaking scenes. RIDE also reveals athletes and crews "behind the scenes" allowing a candid look at the people behind the film.

Spectacular locations from Greenland's remote terrain to Europe's highest peak, Mt. Elbrus, Russia, provide both trials and an incredible backdrop for the athletes. Several North American locations also challenge RIDE's adventure seekers through such tantalizing landscapes as Whistler, B.C., North Cascade, WA, and more.

Some of the athletes featured in RIDE include Hugo Harrison, Whistler, B.C.; the Schrab Brothers, Juneu, WI; Eric Pehota, Pemberton, B.C.; Barrett Christy, Vail, CO; Julie Zell, Teton Village, WY; Ann Battelle, Louisville, CO; Mike Douglas, Whistler, B.C.; Evan Raps, Lake Tahoe, CA; Tanner Hall, Park City, UT; Chris Anthony, Vail, CO; Asia Jenkins, Aspen, CO; Rex Wehrman, Montezuma, CO; Billy Kidd, Steamboat Springs, CO; Nelson Carmichael, Steamboat Springs, CO; Shannon Schad, Breckenridge, CO; and Jeremy Nobis, Park City, UT.

While these awesome athletes and landscapes dazzle your eyes during the 90-minute film, a contemporary adrenaline-pumping soundtrack will keep your heart going despite numerous heart-stopping sequences. You may even spot one of RIDE's stars or walk away with some free gear.
