Is the corporate king of skiing now the corporate king of summer? It’s looking that way, as Vail Resorts begins its third summer with its comprehensive Epic Discovery programming up and running now at three resorts: Vail Mountain in Colo. and Heavenly, Calif., where programming debuted in 2016, and most recently Breckenridge, Colo., which launched at the end of last summer.

Like its predecessors, Breckenridge Epic Discovery is a day ticket program and on-mountain summer adventure offering access to an extensive variety of activities. Guests can experience zip-lining, wall-climbing, aerial ropes courses, guided hiking, and take a spin on a mountain coaster. The offerings vary slightly at all three resorts, but the adventure component is kicked into high gear no matter which location you visit.

At Breckenridge, as an homage to the town’s history, kids and adults can try their hand at panning for gemstones or navigating the puzzling Mineshaft Maze. At Vail and Heavenly, guests can sit back and relax with a scenic gondola ride or slip and slide down the tubing hills (no snow required). Looking for something a bit more rugged? Vail Mountain offers personalized mountain bike clinics led by seasoned experts for everyone from newbies to veterans.

Check here for operating dates and a full list of activities across the three resorts.
