Unless the powder's thigh-deep, you'll find me on these all-mountain crushers with the pretty top sheet.
The History of 4FRNT Skis 4FRNT was founded in 2002 by professional skier Matt Sterbenz in his garage in northern California. After years participating in slopestyle skiing competitions, Sterbenz decided he didn’t want to deal with companies that didn’t understand the skiers they worked with or the type of skiing they were doing. The solution? Start his own company. The first 4FRNT skis were unveiled in 2004 at the SIA show in Las Vegas. Since then, the company’s modest origins were upgraded and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2017, Jason Levinthal purchased the company and moved the brand’s headquarters to Burlington, Vt to expand production.
