Aspen/Snowmass, Colo., November 28, 2004 - You want snow? You got it in Aspen/Snowmass! The winter storm predicted to hit the area moved in with a vengeance yesterday dumping 18 inches of new snow on Snowmass and Aspen Mountains. The snow continues to fall heavily and is expected to stay through the Monday.

"We could not ask for better conditions for our Thanksgiving visitors and locals," said David Perry, Senior Vice President, Aspen Skiing Company. "Women's World Cup racing, the Big Head Todd concert last night and these incredible conditions have boosted the energy Aspen/Snowmass is known for."

The storm has increased bases to 41 inches at Snowmass and 27 inches at Aspen Mountain. More terrain and lifts are opening daily.

Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk will open for the season on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004.
