Though born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, Lindh now makes her home in Squamish, B.C., just down the access road from Whistler. As a 13-year veteran of the U.S. Ski Team (’85-’97), the three-time Olympian accumulated some impressive hardware-including a silver medal in Downhill in the ’92 Albertville Olympics, a gold medal in Downhill in the ’97 World Championships and three World Cup Downhill victories. “My favorite Olympic moment happened the minute after crossing the finish line in the Albertville Games,” Lindh says. “Before I stopped completely, when my face was still hidden by my helmet’s face mask, I had a private moment to realize I had accomplished what I set out to do before it became a public spectacle.”
