Best of 2000: Gore-Tex Goggles?

Bollé's Chrono 2000 with Equalizer lens technology utilizes a Gore All-Weather Vent on the inside lens to allow pressure between the double lenses to equalize at varying altitudes. The idea: Mitigate visual distortion. The lens is also polarized to reduce glare, vermilion tinted to enhance contrast, and specially coated to reduce fogging. $90

To come up with our mostly subjective list of Bests, we polled SKIING's contributors and editors as well as freeskiers and industry insiders. In some categories (skis, boots, and beer, to name a few), we spent months rigorously testing product. In other areas (like "most bitchin' lookin' shades" and "best place to shake your booty"), we simply picked the stuff or place or person we think rocks.
