Bretton Woods, VT, Dec. 9, 2003–Powder and packed powder headlined the snow reports from New Hampshire, where about half the ski areas are open.
Skiers at Bretton Woods made fresh tracks, or tunnels, through untracked snow on several newly opened sections on the mountain.
Across the state, areas boasted snow totals of up to 30 inches thanks to the weekend Noreaster.
