BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. Dec. 4, 2004 - Leave the pearls at home and head to Breckenridge for an old-fashioned, adventure-filled ladies getaway. Amelia Earhart once said, "Adventure is worthwhile in itself," and Breckenridge Ski Resort is offering several alternatives to sample a bit of adventure. Throughout the 2004-2005 season, female skiers and snowboarders have the opportunity to try a new sport, improve skills, meet new friends, and even succumb to a bit of pampering. Beginning with the Roxy Women's Learn to Ride Snow Camp in December and spanning to the March session of the Women's Ski Camp, women are invited to experience the breathtaking splendor of 11,000 feet above sea level, and perhaps even gain a different sense of altitude.
