BORMIO, Italy (AP)–The men’s World Cup downhill which was scrapped in Kitzbuehel due to bad weather will be held Feb. 18 at Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany.

German race organizers were awarded the race after supplying the International Ski Federation with the appropriate guarantees, World Cup race director Guenther Hujara said.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is already hosting a World Cup downhill and super-G on Feb. 19-20.
