Copper Mountain, CO…March 19, 2008
– Copper hosts Colorado’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday, March 23 with 50,000 Easter Eggs on the mountain and throughout the Village at Copper. There will be a Big Kids’ Hunt (ages 13-and-up) on the mountain and two kids’ hunts in the Village at Copper. “Copper Eggs” can be redeemed for great prizes, including shopping sprees at Copper, season passes, ski gear, gift certificates, concert tickets and more – every egg has a prize!
Copper Kids’ Hunts
There are two special Easter Egg hunts, one for the pre-teens and one for the little groms at Copper on Easter Sunday.
The pre-teens (ages 6-12) will enjoy a hunt from 11 a.m. – Noon, starting at the Easter Egg Hunt Information and Prize Tent at the West Lake Overlook in The Village at Copper. The info tent is home to day-of event maps, schedules, additional Easter bags and redeeming of “Copper Egg” prizes.
There is a special Easter Egg hunt for the little tikes out there (ages 5-and-under). The Easter Bunny will be roaming the Village at Copper from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., helping kids find the hidden eggs. This hunt goes from Noon – 1 p.m. at the Climbing Wall in the Village at Copper.
Big Kids’ Hunt
This is the Easter Egg hunt for those teenagers and adults that are kids at heart (ages 13-and-up) on March 23, from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., located on the mountain on the following trails: Andy’s Encore, Main Vein, American Flyer, Roundabout from the top of Lumber Jack lift down to Union Creek and the Woodwinds Traverse from the bottom of the Timberline Express lift to the top of Easy Feelin’. For this hunt, there will only be 100 “Copper Eggs” hidden; prizes include a Rocky Mountain Super Pass, a Copper Mountain Season Pass, Copper lift tickets good for the 08/09 season, a $500 Copper shopping spree, a Copper Creek golf package, Tubing Hill tickets, summer day passes, gift certificates to Copper shops and restaurants, ski gear and much more!
Tricks aren’t just for kids; the Easter Bunny will be performing amazing aerial maneuvers in the Main Vein Superpipe from 3:30 – 4 p.m. So grab a seat at Jack’s deck and watch the Easter Bunny put on a great show.
