Princeton, MA, Feb. 17--Firefighters are coming from all over Massachusetts today to participate in the Fourth Annual Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts Ski and Snowboard Muster at Wachusett Ski Area, MA.

In addition to donating all proceeds from the event to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, this year's competition is dedicated to the six Worcester firefighters who tragically lost their lives last December.

Approximately 150 firefighters from the state make up 20 teams competing in two races clothed in full fire fighting garb. First, groups of five firefighters will ski or snowboard down a giant slalom course holding a 50-foot fire hose without letting go. The second competition requires the firefighters to put on their skies and fire fighting gear before racing down a NASTAR course.

Following the races, all of the participants will ski down the Challenger trail in a torchlight parade in honor of the six fallen heroes.
