You call the shots: mellow in-bounds skiing with an instructor, or guided backcountry ripping high in the alpine zone. This is a camp for adults, and the director will tailor the program to meet the needs of the group. There’s even an affordable heli option, at about $300 extra per day. Includes as much or as little instruction as you’d like.

The Alps rider program turns high-schoolers loose—with guides, of course—on the Alps. Campers fly into and out of Geneva, and spend three weeks touring Switzerland, France and Italy by bike, van and skis. Ski stops include Saas Fee, Switzerland, Les Deux Alpes, France, and Passo Stelvio, Italy.
KILLINGTON MOUNTAIN SCHOOL SUMMER SKI CAMP

Lon Bretell, former U.S. Ski Team women’s coach, heads a team of Killington Mountain School coaches. The Mammoth camp, June 20—July 1, focuses on superG and GS. The Mt. Hood camp, July 3—17, focuses onGS and slalom. The La Parva camp, Aug. 5—19, offers all three. Groups will include mostly KMS athletes, but other serious racers are accepted.
SOUTH AMERICA SNOW SESSIONS

The group decides the program’s format. The directors are content to stay inbounds all day, but just as ready to head out of bounds and build a backcountry kicker. Aerials specialists will help guests conquer their fears. Guests stay in condos within minutes of the slopes at Las Lenas. Program includes daily Spanish classes.
AUSTIRAN PRO SKI ACADEMY

The Austrian approach to skill progression is all-encompassing. Not only do campers work on mogul and freeskiing technique, there’s gate-training as well. Off the slopes, there’s supervised physical training, video analysis and even instruction on ski tuning. Race training includes the rare opportunity to run super G and downhill gates.
