Baltimore, MD Feb. 18–The Johns Hopkins School of Public Health announced this week it has teamed with InteliHealth.com to collect information from skiers and snowboarders who have been injured on the slopes. Researchers at the university say they want to collect the data to pinpoint the specific circumstances that lead to injuries. Participants will be asked to answer questions about the details of their fall in an effort to provide information to skiers and snowboarders on how to prevent an injury. Skiers and snowboarders are being asked to visit www.injury-study.org to take part in the study, the results of which will be updated weekly.
