Jimmie Heuga and Boeri Team Up to Fight MS

This jacket is made of waterproof-breathable Gore-Tex Softshell, a material that only gets softer with time. Like jeans. Its solid color is low-key, the hood fits over a helmet, the powder skirt is great for storm days, and the pit zips are enormous. The Velcro patches on the cuffs could be bigger and stickier but thats a quibble for a techy jacket that doesn’t look it and gets more comfortable each time I wear it. Edwards, CO Jan. 10--The Jimmie Heuga Center and Boeri Sport, USA are teaming up to raise money for multiple sclerosis (MS). The charity race series, Jimmie Heuga's Snow Express for MS, will tour some of America's top ski resorts starting in January 2000.

"The JHC's (Jimmie Heuga Center) partnership with Boeri helmets allows our Snow Express participants to experience the thrill of racing in a Vertical Challenge format while stressing the importance of safety on the slopes," said JHC Vice President of Development, Bruce Valentine.

Celebrating its 15th Anniversary as a fundraiser for JHC, the Snow Express for MS challenges skiers from each resort to test their skills through friendly competition. Former Olympians and pro racers join participants in a Vertical Challenge and a dual giant slalom race. Teams of three raise funds through donations that go directly to the JHC, a nonprofit, scientific research organization that helps people with MS.

Jimmie Heuga's Snow Express for MS will open the 2000 season at Boyne Mountain, Michigan on January 10.
