Keystone Kicks Off Summer 2006 with Pedal-Rama and World Music Festival

Kick off the 2006 summer mountain biking season with Keystone's Pedal-Rama. We're celebrating a weekend of biking: bring out your mountain bike, big wheel, beach cruiser, road bike, or unicycle, we don't care...just get here and ride!! Keystone's Pedal-Rama celebration also includes Nirve Cruiser Demos, Nirve Cruiser Cross fun-race and Bike Park Jump Jam.

On Friday evening, men and women will dust off their beach cruiser and tune it up for our 2nd Annual Cruiser Cross race through an obstacle course in River Run. Brand new cruiser bikes, courtesy of Nirve, will go to the top male & female winner and prizes to everyone who participates!

When: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 16-18, 2006
Where: Dercum Mt., River Run Events Plaza
Cost: $29 day bike haul, $15 single bike haul


Take a break from the saddle on Saturday afternoon and visit the River Run Events Plaza for the World Music Festival and Bike Park Jump Jam. River Run Village at Keystone celebrates cultures straight from the West Indies. Keystone's World Music Festival combines calypso and reggae and blends them into live music, a marketplace, international dances, artwork and dishes from the Caribbean Islands and beyond.

Featured musical group Musa Konate, and reggae influenced band Irie Still.
