The Tecnica Rival RX takes a new approach to canting. Its Dual Pivot system allows a skier to choose the cuff’s hinge points and thus to customize the boot’s flex path. Depending on which hinge points are used, the boot provides a quicker or slower move to the edge. Generally, quicker is better for bowlegged skiers; slower, for the knock-kneed.
