WHITE MOUNTAINS, NH – (March 19, 2007) – With the recent snowstorm blanketing the White Mountains of New Hampshire with over a foot of new snow, spring skiers and riders at Loon, Waterville Valley and Cranmore Mountain can start planning for next season by purchasing their Threedom Pass now and take advantage of the greatest savings.
Skiers and riders will have even more Threedom Pass options to choose from and will be able to access more lifts and terrain for next season. The first phase of Loon Mountain’s much-anticipated South Peak expansion will open in December 2007 with the Lincoln Express, a brand-new, high-speed quad chair; 49 acres of new intermediate terrain; and a connector quad chair which will link South Peak to Loon’s existing lift and trail network. This first phase represents only 35% of the total planned on-mountain expansion, so Threedom Passholders will have even more terrain to look forward to in the coming years.
Back for its 9th year, the premier Anytime Threedom Pass, on sale for $749, gives winter enthusiasts unlimited access to Loon Mountain, Waterville Valley and Cranmore Mountain Resort. All three resorts are located within 2 1/2 hours from Boston. The resorts offer a combined 734 acres of terrain, 142 trails, 32 lifts and 14 unparalleled terrain parks. Just as important, the close proximity to each other allows skiers and riders to take advantage of the variety of three New Hampshire Resorts.
In addition to the Anytime Passes, a new Threedom Limited Edition Pass will be offered to all age categories – Age 19+, Teen, Junior and Senior. The Limited Edition Pass will be valid any day of the season at Waterville Valley and Cranmore Mountain, and have blackout dates for Loon Mountain (not valid 12/26/07 – 1/1/08; 1/19-21/08; 2/16-24/08). The Threedom College Pass, valid every day of the 07-08 season, remains the best deal in snow country at just $249.
The Threedom Value Pass, which is only available until November 30, 2007, starts at just $449 and is valid Sunday-Friday at all three resorts, with blackout dates (not valid 12/26/07 – 1/1/08; 1/19-21/08; 2/16-24/08).
The three-mountain access and price are not the only reasons that the Threedom Pass is so popular. With the added “Flash Your Pass Benefits,” guests can save hundreds of dollars at all three resorts. These include ‘bring a buddy’ ticket discounts, restaurant and lodging discounts and many other deals at area retailers. Anytime Threedom Passholders can also ski or ride free any day of the season at Lake Tahoe’s premier resorts; Northstar-at-Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe (up-to 14 days per year) while Limited Edition and Value Passholders receive 50% discount off any day, non-holiday tickets.
For those who have a 2006-07 Threedom Pass, a $50 discount will be applied to the purchase price of next year’s Threedom Pass if purchased before the May 31st Early-Season deadline.
First-time Threedom Passholders in 2007-08 who purchase before the May 31st Early-Season deadline and can show a 2006-07 season pass from another resort will be rewarded with a $30 gift card good at any Booth Creek Resort – Loon, Waterville Valley, Cranmore Mountain, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Sierra-at-Tahoe or The Summit at Snoqualmie.
For dedicated Cranmore Mountain skiers and riders, their Happy Trails season pass will again be offered. Valid only at the North Conway resort.
Skiers and riders can purchase 2007-08 Threedom Passes at each resort through the end of the winter season at Loon, Waterville Valley or Cranmore, or online at www.threedompass.com, or call 1-866-271-8366.
