Bootboards sit inside your shells, underneath your liners. Most are made of plastic, but Nordica’s Efficient Dynamic Technology (EDT) bootboard is made of aluminum. It adds torsional rigidity and increases power to the ski. For real. We tried it. Three layers of heat-reflective material ride atop it, so cold feet aren’t a concern.
