Copper Mountain, CO, Nov. 12–Although Copper Mountain isn’t open yet, they’ve been making snow since late October, and various national teams have been training there since Nov. 1. The U.S., Austrian, Swiss, and Slovenian women are Currently on the hill. The U.S. team held time trials Thursday, Oct. 11 to determine team rankings and starting positions for upcoming World Cup events. The buzz is that the Park City World Cup opener will be rescheduled for Copper Nov. 18 and 19. The ski area will open for the public on Nov. 20.
