Purgatory, CO (Purgatory Press Release)—The Snow Gods have turned their attention to the southwest corner of Colorado and Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort has received 45 inches of snow in the last month. To celebrate the recent snowfall and prepare for a great spring season the resort is announcing new packages offering huge savings for ski and snowboard vacations.

Purgatory is 100 percent open, with recent snowstorms dropping snow nearly every week since December 10, 2005. The Paradise Freestyle Arena will be fully open this weekend featuring rails and hits and the newly designed Halfpipe. Purgatory recently acquired a Zaugg, a machine specially designed to cut halfpipes, helping the resort create the best halfpipe in the southwest.
