“La Grave is where I ski all the time, where there are 50-degree faces and glacial runouts just a short hike from the lift. Cerces is a small mountain range in the region, where we climbed 4,000 feet and dropped into another valley. And Peru is the epitome of ski mountaineering in a foreign land-we were four days from the nearest road. It’s just different degrees of getting out there.”
