Now comes the Recovery, which should be initiated the instant the springs on the left side begin to rebound. With your eyes focused on the road, bring the steering wheel back the other direction, straightening the wheels to get them pointed back down the road. Without this all-important re-correction, the vehicle may “hook” back the other way (veering left in our imaginary scenario). This is a very dangerous situation that can end in a rollover, especially in high-centered trucks and SUVs.
