BANFF/ LAKE LOUISE, Alberta (May 6, 2003) Summer has been put on hold in Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine as skiers & boarders are still enjoying winter! The resorts received up to 127 cm (50 inches) in the past 10 days.
"It's exciting to end the year on a high note..." said Anne Haight, International Sales Manager at Ski Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine. "...skiers and riders can get some quality turns in before putting the boards away for the summer." With conditions like this, we're already looking forward to next season and a strong start in November.
There's still time to get some turns in before the clubs come out! Closing dates for the Big 3 are: May 11th at Lake Louise, May 19th at Sunshine Village, and Ski Banff @ Norquay is now closed for the season.
