(Squaw Valley USA – News Release) To kick off the New Year, Squaw Valley USA will begin offering residents of the Reno/Tahoe area $39 lift tickets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all season long.
Membership in the Squaw Club is available to residents living within a 50-mile radius of Squaw Valley USA (as the crow flies). This area includes North and South Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Donner Summit, Reno, Sparks, Virginia City, Auburn, Portola, Downieville and Loyalton, Markleeville and Nevada City.
The program kicks-off January 7, 2003 and membership is only $5. To sign up, visit Squaw Valley’s special ticket office and present a drivers license with qualified zip code as proof of residence. Then, every Tuesday through Thursday members simply present their card and an ID at any ticket window to purchase a discounted ticket.
Reno and South Lake Tahoe residents can also take advantage of Squaw Valley USA’s $5 daily shuttle busses for a convenient and hassle-free day at Squaw Valley USA. “Combined with a $39 ticket, this is a great deal and a great way to enjoy the big mountain for less,” explained Eric Brandt, Director of Marketing for Squaw Valley Ski Corp.
