TELLURIDE, Colo. Dec. 30, 2004 -With 13 inches of new snow in the past 48 hours, Telluride Ski Resort is ready to ring in the New Year with powder skiing. The resort has received more than 100 inches of snow this season making on-mountain conditions stellar!

“This last storm brought us more holiday cheer to be enjoyed by all our guests, said Jeff Proteau, vice president of mountain operations for the Telluride Ski Resort. “We have had an awesome snow season thus far, and the weather forecast indicates more powder is on the way.

With the abundance of snow, the entire mountain is in excellent shape. The conditions in Prospect Bowl, 733 acres of terrain with stellar terrain to be enjoyed by all abilities, are incredible. New Year’s Eve will bring the annual torch light parade visible from both Telluride and Mountain Village followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

January will kick off The Telluride Ski Resort’s Winter Concert Series and Snow Festival.
