Copper Mountain, CO…November 14, 2002… Copper Mountain is giving skiersand snowboarders a lot more to be thankful for this season. In addition toabundant early season snowfall, the resort is offering Thanksgiving lodgingpackages and a myriad of turkey day activities for visitors of all ages.With over three feet of snow having fallen on the slopes during the firstpart November, the resort will have 2,700 vertical feet of skiing and ridingavailable to skiers and riders by Thanksgiving weekend. In addition, TheVillage at Copper will host a number of Thanksgiving festivities includingthe 3rd Annual Turkey Bowl, giving visitors even more reasons to celebrate.

On Thursday, November 28th, The Village at Copper will host a Turkey Bowlingcompetition to raise money for Advocates for Victims of Assault – a SummitCounty charity. For $2 per bowl, participants can throw frozen turkeys atwooden pilgrims for a good cause. After working up an appetite on the slopesand in The Village, guests can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner atJack’s Slopeside Grill or J.J.’s Rocky Mountain Tavern, or anot-so-traditional turkey-cranberry wrap at Endo’s Adrenaline Cafe.
