CHALLENGE: Lacking a gentle touch with both skis
Experts on shaped skis know they can get their feet apart and be doubly effective by edging with both skis. Beware: This can backfire if your timing is off, the skis don’t point in the same direction or pressure is applied to one or the other ski too harshly. You get stuck in a learning rut if you follow the intermediate lesson (transfer weight with more authority) too rigidly.
SOLUTION: Redistribute pressure from ski to ski more softly
