Whitefish, MT Feb. 21, 2004 (USST) — U.S. skiers took two more podiums Saturday in a Nor Am super G while Canadian Kelly Vanderbeek picked off her second victory in 24 hours at Big Mountain as she and Nor Am SG leader Bryna McCarty (Concord, VT) went 1-2 for the second straight day.

Vanderbeek, who nipped McCarty by .01 Friday, won in 1:27.65. McCarty, the Nor Am super G leader and a Burke Mountain Academy product on the U.S. C Team, finished in 1:19.25, leading seven U.S. women into the top 10 spots. Stacey Cook (Truckee, CA) was third at 1:30.19.

The women will race downhill Wednesday and Thursday at Big before heading to Panorama resort, B.C., for two more super Gs Feb. 29-March 1.
