Utah's "front four" give SLC hotel guests a discount

SALT LAKE CITY (press release) — Skiers and snowboarders who visit Salt Lake during the 2002/03 season will be rewarded with a brand new multi-area lift voucher. The pass is good for day passes at Alta Ski Area, Brighton Resort, Solitude Mountain Resort and Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort.

“The Salt Lake resorts are teaming up to give travelers the most convenient access to Utah’s best skiing,” said Eric Thompson, director of winter sports tourism for the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau. The four Salt Lake resorts each receive 500 inches of snow every year, more than any other resort in Utah, Colorado, California or Canada. Together, they provide a total of 6,750 skiable acres served by 33 lifts. They are also closer to a major airport and metropolitan area than any other resorts in the West.

The day pass will be sold to guests at participating hotels and lodges in Park City and Salt Lake, and will cost less than any of the Salt Lake resort’s individual lift passes. Skiers and boarders redeem the pass at ticket windows of participating resorts for a day pass at the resort of their choice. Additional multi-area passes, which allow skiing at two or more resorts on the same day, are also available directly from each of the Salt Lake resorts.
