Van Hagar

This past spring, our second-favorite Van Halen frontman opened his second bar, this one in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Which, given the fact that David Lee Roth will probably never reunite with the band, seemed like second-rate news to us. But the Cabo Wabo Cantina—or "Tahoe Wabo as it's already been nicknamed—has been going off: Opening weekend saw 3,700 customers drain 700 cases of tequila; they crowned "Miss Tahoe Wabo in May (who then became an onstage "waitress); and, this past July, Vince Neil, Mötley Crüe's former lead singer, packed the joint with big-hairs. So screw it: When the guy in the silly sombrero comes to our table and blasts his whistles—we'll tilt our heads back and take the tequila down the gullet.
