Montpelier, VT Oct. 12–Candy Moot announced last Friday that she is stepping down as president of the Vermont Ski Areas Association. Moot’s affiliation with the association reaches back 21 years, five as president.
“I just felt it was time to take a break and then look for a new challenge,” Moot told SAM. “Besides, I’m excited to see where a new person might take the organization.”
Moot will stay on through January 2000 and if a replacement is not found by then, Moot said she would stay on “within reason” until one is.
