Per the typical hoopla, tons of exhibitors set up shop at the base of the Winter X Games this weekend. Stanley Hayer took home gold on Sunday for Skier X. Daron Rahlves didn’t make the podium, getting fourth in the event.
X Games spectators load up on free stuff before heading closer to the superpipe or slopestyle course at this years competition. Sponsors like Taco Bell, Warheads, and The Navy all handed out free goodies to the large crowd.
Perret competes in Winter X 13’s Monoski X finals on Sunday. Tyler Walker took first in the new event with Sam Ferguson and K-J van der Klooster falling just behind.

Snowmobiliers fly by as crowds gather to watch superpipe and slopestyle events. Relative newcomer Xavier Bertoni took a huge Superpipe win home as legends Tanner Hall and Simon Dumont placed second and third. Tanner Hall did pretty poorly at this Winter X, as he only podiumed once for his second place finish in Superpipe.
Christy the dog/polar bear lounges in the 12 inches of fresh snow at the X Games this weekend. TJ Schiller took home the gold for slopestyle this weekend with Sammy Carlson and Colby West following right behind.
The crowds gather to check out Superpipe events at the Winter X Games this past weekend. Sarah Burke continued her domination from the DEW Tour, scoring a 93.33 in her third run. Jen Hudak and Jess Cumming were second and third respectively in the event.
