SIERRA NEVADA, Spain Feb. 23, 2003 (AP)–The World Cup women’s downhill races were canceled Sunday because of high winds.
The competition was postponed Saturday because of heavy snow. Officials canceled the event Sunday after recording wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
The next race is scheduled for Feb. 28 in Innsbruck, Austria.
