Snow is starting to fly in the Rockies and ski resorts are firing up the snow guns, which means it’s time for Halley O’Brien’s first official snow report of the season. Everyone’s stoked about the early-season snowfall and looming ski resort openings, but no one is as stoked as the Wisconsinites, who already got to take their first run of the season. Who needs freshies when you’ve got leftovers? Scrappy little Trollhaugen ski area didn’t let a little thing like snow (or the lack thereof) get in the way of their first ski day.

Tune in weekly for the latest episode of The Snow Report to get the scoop on the snow forecast, what’s trending, gear, beer, and other witty winter banter.
