The Snow Report Show presented by SKI Magazine is looking for passionate skiers and snowboarders (with a great sense of humor) to serve as regional reporters to share their winter with us in the form of writing, photo and video.

Regions of Interest

  • New England
  • Mid-Atlantic
  • Colorado
  • Utah
  • Lake Tahoe
  • Pacific Northwest

Snow Reporter Duties

Our cast of regional Snow Reporters will serve as volunteer contributors by writing, filming and producing weekly content featured on thesnowreport.com (website coming soon). Reporters will also appear as regular contributors to our weekly national show, The Snow Report with Halley O’Brien.

60-Second Weekly Video Segment

Video is a huge part of what makes The Snow Report unique, and we want to you to extend The Snow Report’s voice and reach by creating and hosting a regionalized micro-show that discusses what’s happening in YOUR area. Think of this like a glorified Instagram story.

Regional Snow News

It’s up to you to look out for the best photos, videos, events and happenings from your area. Put your own spin on it in the form of a video or short writeup and share it with us.

What’s In It For You:

  • Developing and honing your on-camera and storytelling skills.
  • Contributing and collaborating with a fun and creative team.
  • Building your portfolio, reach and personal brand.
  • Becoming a contributing force to one of the most unique video shows in the winter sports industry.
  • Free skiing and riding when available.

Moral of the story, we want to provide a home to the winter content you may already be making and sharing. This isn’t a paid or full-time gig.

How to Apply

Email a video sample of you showing off your personality, your love for winter, where you live and where you ski/ride, and anything else you’d like to highlight. Please also send a writing sample, your social handles, and contact information. Submissions due by Dec. 15th.
