To celebrate the streaming release of "Make Believe," 2020's feature-length ski movie from Teton Gravity Research, the company released the full Kai Jones in Jackson Hole segment from the film. Needless to say, the teenager goes ham on some of the most iconic lines and biggest cliffs at the Wyoming resort and surrounding backcountry. It's easy to see Kai has already established himself as a full-blown pro skier, and one to be reckoned with for many seasons to come.

The son of TGR founder Todd Jones, fourteen-year-old Kai has been appearing in TGR films for the past three seasons, upping the ante with every appearance. It's easy to compare the teen to professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, who took the action sports world by storm in the early 2000s at about the same age that Kai is now. (Coincidentally, Kai also recently signed with Red Bull, meaning the two athletes are now teammates.)

He probably Facetimed his mom after stomping this one, too.

Despite his youth, Kai's skiing is fun, confident, and full throttle. He has spent a number of seasons under the guidance of fellow TGR athlete Tim Durtschi, who makes a few cameos in this segment as well.

"My highlight [of creating the segment] was skiing big lines top to bottom with multiple features and airs," says Kai in a press release. "This is something I have been working on through competition and filming over the last few years."
