Amherst, NH May 5, 2004 – Atomic is pleased to announce today that they have reached a sponsorship agreement with World Cup Champion and Olympic medallist Bode Miller. Terms are undisclosed but the contract will see Miller on Atomic skis, boots and bindings for the next 2 seasons.

“We are extremely delighted to have Bode on board and would like to welcome him into the Atomic ski family, said Dr. Michael Schineis, President of Atomic Austria. “His decision to race on the complete Atomic system (skis, bindings and boots) speaks volumes about the caliber of our products; we will go to any length to help Bode achieve his goals.

Miller chose to race with Atomic after extensive and repeated testing in Italy and Norway. “I made the move to Atomic based on their proven race results and my own personal experience testing their equipment under race conditions,” states Bode. “Atomic is a time-honored manufacturer and I’m confident they will give me all the support I’ll need no matter which discipline I’m racing.”

A unique breed of racer, Bode is a threat to land on the podium in any event: Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super-G, Downhill or Combined. Miller will race for the first time on Atomic equipment at the World Cup season opener in Sölden, Austria this October.

“This deal ensures Bode will be racing the complete Atomic system on the World Cup Circuit, at the World Championships in Sestrière (2005) and in the Olympic Games in Turin (2006), said Eduardo Guzman, Atomic’s US Race Director. “We are proud of our record as a complete four-event supplier, and look forward to teaming with Bode into the foreseeable future.
