Turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, and … nope, not football. This Thanksgiving weekend, ski racing takes the spotlight as the 2025 Stifel Copper Cup debuts as the newest stop on the World Cup. From Nov. 27–30, the fastest names on snow will push out of the gates for competitions in giant slalom, Super-G, and slalom on the slopes of Copper Mountain, Colorado.
Because this event replaces the Killington stop, this will be the only domestic appearance by the U.S. women, including Mikaela Shiffrin, Paula Moltzan, and Lauren Macuga. It’s also a key stop on the qualification road to the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. So when you need a break from the gridiron or the Black Friday shopping, here’s where to tune in to see the action starting on Thanksgiving Day.
