It might be cliché to point out that a fat ski handles hard snow better than expected, but some people still judge books by their covers. The ferox freebird is certainly a powder champ, girthy enough to handle the deepest days, but is still lightweight for pleasant uphill travel. With a unique 3D profile that puts paulownia and poplar wood over the ski’s edges but integrates thin carbon and Isocore polyurethane throughout to keep the ski spry, the ferox freebird will be the talk of the trailhead every time you take it out.
