We don’t want boots
that bind, pinch or squeeze us. As a result, many skiers tend to buy boots that are too wide in the heel or too long in the toes. Boots should feel comfortably snug: the heel cup should embrace your heel and prevent it from lifting and your toes should almost touch the fronts of the boots. These points are critical.
