Ladies who are always cold—or live in consistently Arctic climes—Columbia’s got you covered. The Powder Keg promises tropical warmth thanks to Omni-Tech waterproof breathability on the outside and Omni-Heat 3D thermal heat retention on the inside. Mammut Alvier Armor HS Jacket & Pants

Mammut debuts its Phase Map technology, a combo of fabrics manufactured into one piece, in the Alvier Armor. Here, the polyamide/polyester combo is waterproof, breathable, and easy to move in, plus it has abrasion-resistant zones in high-use areas. The jacket sports a helmet-compatible hood, underarm vents, and a detachable powder skirt; the pants snap to attach to the jacket and boast generous side vents. The North Face Ceptor Anorak & Bib

Finally, a stylie anorak made to perform in the backcountry. We love that TNF rolled out this DryVent three-layer setup for women. With its longer length, huge center pocket, easy entry/ exit, and generous pit vents, the Ceptor knows its audience. Direct Alpine Guide Lady 5.0 Jacket & Couloir Plus Lady Pant

DirectAlpine, new-to-market in the U.S., makes apparel decidedly for touring in the high alpine. BD’s new touring kit is a Gore-Tex three-layer Active shell with Gore’s C-Knit backer for com- fort and easy movement. Every consideration was given to its intended use in the backcountry, including harness- and pack-compatible pockets, climbing-helmet-compatible hood, pit zips, and stretch gaiters to accommodate touring boots. Strafe Women’s Sunnyside Alpha Anorak

Combine Recon Air outer fabric and Polartec Alpha insulation and what do you get? Knit Tech Fleece Hoody

This midlayer pullover quickly became a favorite piece of apparel around the SKI offices: It’s thick, but doesn’t feel bulky, and cozy without keeping you too warm.
