PORTOROZ, Slovenia – FIS has scheduled 13 World Cup races for North America in the coming winter, compressed into three weekends at the beginning of the season.
The World Cup alpine schedule begins Oct. 26-27 in Soelden, Austria. After a three week break, America’s Opening launches continuous racing.

* Nov. 21 – Women’s GS
* Nov. 22 – Men’s GS
* Nov. 23 – Women’s slalom
* Nov. 24 – Men’s slalom

* Nov. 29 – Women’s super G
* Nov. 30 – Women’s slalom

* Nov. 30 – Men’s downhill
* Dec. 1 – Men’s super G
* Dec. 6 – Women’s downhill I
* Dec. 7 – Women’s downhill II
* Dec. 8 – Women’s super G
