Season pass announcements continue this week with Ikon Pass sharing its 2024-’25 pricing along with a host of new perks. Like its Epic Pass competitor there’s no jaw-dropping news, just a price increase, new access at one resort, more spring access, and a dozen or so new partnerships that may or may not help justify the cost. The pass goes on sale on March 14.

Let’s break it down:

  • The annual price increase comes out to just under $100 for the full Ikon Pass and $40 for the Base Pass.
  • This is very similar to the last couple years’ of increases.
  • There are no new resort additions, however Washington’s Crystal Mountain moves back to unlimited access on the full Ikon Pass after a couple seasons with seven- day access. The Base Pass still features five days at Crystal.
  • Arapahoe Basin’s access remains the same next season despite the Alterra acquisition, with five days on the Base and seven on the full pass.
  • Ikon Passes get two more Friends & Family tickets, for a total of up to 12, offering at least a 25 percent discount off window rates.
  • New this summer, all Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Plus, and Ikon Base passes will include one free bike park ticket to use at one of 16 resorts (see list below).
  • Get a credit of up to $1,400 to use on a Canadian Mountain Holidays heliski trip.
  • Many new partnerships, including Ship Skis, Blenders Eyewear, and Camp Woodward.

For a quick overview on prices, the full pass is going to $1,249 ($1,149 with renewal discount for returning pass holders), from $1,159 and the Base Pass to $869 ($819 renewal) from last year’s $829.

Good news for new pass holders who want to take advantage of what’s looking to be another banner spring season: Spring access is back, with skiing and riding at 9 resorts starting on March 14, four more on April 1, and another three on April 8.
