The “Who Needs YouTube?” competition is open to residents of the 50 United States, Washington, D.C. and Canada (excluding Quebec), who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry. Employees and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), including household members of SKIING magazine (“SKIING”), Time 4 Media, Inc., Time Inc., and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. All entries become the property of SKIING and will not be acknowledged and may be used in any manner or form in any and all media in the future at SKIING’s discretion. All entrants represent and warrant that their entry is original, non-published, and does not infringe the rights or intellectual property claims of any third parties. Submission of entry constitutes entrant’s consent to irrevocably assign and transfer to SKIING any and all rights, title and interest in and to entry, including, without limitation, all copyrights.

. SKIING will choose a video that best captures the spirit of its readers and is most relevant to the magazine’s editorial mission for viewing on the website. All entries become the property of SKIING and will not be acknowledged. SKIING may suspend or terminate this competition at any time without notice, in its sole discretion. The editors of SKIING will judge all eligible entries based on the foregoing criteria. Decisions of the judges are final and binding in all respects. SKIING may choose to publish the letter in the magazine at its sole discretion.
Prize:
The Winner will be awarded Ski apparel at the discretion of SKIING, with an approximate Retail Value (“ARV) of: $600. Winner is responsible for all expenses and taxes not included in the prize. If actual value turns out to be less than stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash. If prize is forfeited for any reason, the prize will be awarded to the entrant with the next best judged entry. All Prizes are subject to availability.
Winner Notification:
The winner will be notified by phone, postal mail, and/or email. Winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release within 14 days of date specified on notification, or an alternate winner will be determined. Prize awarded within 30 days after receipt of Affidavit. If Affidavit is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to the entrant with the next highest scoring entry. If winner is otherwise eligible under these official rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner’s parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute affidavit on minor’s behalf. No substitutions are permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize is non-assignable or transferable. Winner is responsible for all federal, sate, local and provincial sales and income taxes. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of each winner. By accepting prize, winner releases and hold harmless SKIING, its respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability, injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of prize. Contest subject to all federal, state, provincial and local laws & regulations. Void in Puerto Rico and in the province of Quebec and where prohibited by law. Any claims relating to this contest shall be governed by New York law without regard to its conflict of law, rulles, and any such claim must be heard in New York.
