Ski For Less Than $2 a Day On This Season Pass to 72 Resorts

It’s mid-summer, time for resort upgrades and season pass announcements. Which makes the Indy Pass right on time with its latest news, released today: The coalition of 68 independent ski resorts has grown by four more for the 2021-’22 season, bringing the total number of resorts on the pass to 72 ski areas across 27 states and provinces.
With the price holding steady at $279 for the upcoming winter, that’s 144 days for less than $2 each. (Prices go up on Aug. 31.)
The Indy Pass gains a foothold in SoCal with the addition of Snow Valley Mountain Resort in the San Bernardino range. It’s the third California resort on the pass and opens up access to the thousands of skiers in the Los Angeles area, about 90 minutes away.

Snow Valley sits at 8,000 feet and offers 13 lifts over 240 skiable acres. It’s mostly considered a great beginner and intermediate hill, but the above-treeline terrain on Slide Peak is an expert’s playground where the vertical drop rises to just past 1,000 feet.
“Indy Pass holders can now ski and surf in the same day, achieving the iconic bucket list combo of tasty Pacific Ocean waves and plenty of powder and corduroy runs off Southern California’s only six-person chairlift, the Snow Valley Express,” says the resort’s Vice President & General Manager, Kevin Somes.
Alberta’s Marmot Basin is the fourth Canadian resort on the Indy Pass. This 1,720-acre ski area inside Jasper National Park is a gem, with seven lifts across five sprawling mountains that serve up tremendous glades, open bowls, steep chutes, and plenty of family-friendly cruisers. It’s all complemented by the postcard-worthy town of Jasper, 12 miles away.
The third and fourth new additions are both small Eastern ski areas that are beloved parts of their respective local communities. NY.’s Titus Mountain is a family-friendly ski area in the Adirondacks that welcomes learners and intermediates with night skiing, tubing, and 10 lifts over 1,350 vertical feet. Pennsylvania’s Montage Mountain is known for its extensive snowmaking and night skiing operations, as well as it’s proximity to NYC and Philadelphia. These two ski areas will also have no Indy Pass blackout dates.

Speaking of blackouts, there’s an Indy Pass option, called the Indy+, that bypasses all date restrictions. For $379, skiers get two days at each of the 72 resorts with no blackouts of any sort. There’s also the Indy Add-On pass, which you can add onto your season pass from any Indy Pass partner resort for $189, or $289 with no blackout dates.
