Skier Karl Fostvedt and snowboarder Madison Blackley were crowned the new King and Queen of Corbet’s after the fourth annual freestyle competition went off in Jackson Hole on February 17. The winners were announced Sunday morning, giving the judges time to review the two runs by each of the 26 participants who threw double backflips, nose butters, huge methods, and the first-ever wallride in the iconic couloir.

Viewers worldwide will be able to watch the competition for free and in its entirety on Red Bull TV and jacksonhole.com beginning on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at 1:00 pm MST.

Don’t miss the second-place runs by Hans Mindnich for the men and Audrey Herbert for the women, with Jake Hopfinger and Zoe Vernon completing the podium. The King and Queen went home with $10,000 for first place, while $5,000 was for second place and $3,000 for third place.
“The event was incredible. The athletes took skiing and riding to a whole new level this year,” says JHMR Senior Events and Partnership Manager Jess McMillan who was part of the brain-trust behind the inaugural event four years ago.
“We had a challenging weather window (it just keeps snowing!), not to mention pulling an event off like this in times of COVID. It’s a true testament to the dedicated staff, athletes, and partners to execute such an amazing competition this winter. We are so grateful,” McMillan added.
