Snowbird, Utah April 7, 2004 — Easter gets an early start Sunday, April 11, at Snowbird with a free 6:53 a.m. Sunrise Service on Hidden Peak. The festivities continue at 9 a.m. with the annual free children’s Easter Egg Hunt on Chickadee Run and an on-mountain Easter Egg Hunt for adults.
Easter Brunch will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Atrium Restaurant in Snowbird’s Cliff Lodge. Easter breakfast options at Snowbird include a full buffet at the Aerie Restaurant from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and a full breakfast menu at the Forklift restaurant on the Snowbird Plaza Deck from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Easter Sunrise Service
The Sunrise Service on Hidden Peak begins at 6:53 a.m. Free Tram rides to the service begin at 5:15 a.m. with the last Tram departing the Snowbird Center at 6:30 a.m. Should weather not cooperate, the service will be held on the Plaza Deck or in the nearby Rendezvous Room. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate will be served.
Easter Egg Hunt
The free Easter Egg Hunt for children up to 11 years of age takes place on the Chickadee run and features the Easter Bunny. The hunt begins at 9 a.m. and participants should meet on the Plaza Deck. An adult Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the mountain until all eggs have been found.
Easter Breakfast/Brunch
Easter Brunch will be served at the Atrium Restaurant in the Cliff Lodge from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Selections include assorted sushi, cinnamon peach pancakes, honey pepper roasted game hen and vegetarian eggs benedict. The Aerie Restaurant in the Cliff Lodge will offer a breakfast buffet beginning at 7 a.m. and the Forklift Restaurant on the Snowbird Center Plaza Deck will begin serving breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
Spring skiing and snowboarding is scheduled to continue through May 31 at Snowbird with discount tickets available in mid-April.
