Denver, Colo. – Colorado Ski Country USA announced today that the 2008-09 Colorado GEMS Card is now available for purchase. The GEMS Card gives access to special deals, discounts, programs and promotions at the nine Colorado GEM ski resorts. The GEMS Card is available for $10 with limited quantities.

Having been around for more then 10 years, the Colorado GEMS Card has become a staple of the Colorado ski industry. “The GEMS Card is the key that unlocks a treasure trove of valuable offers and deals from our member GEM resorts,” explains Melanie Mills, president and CEO of Colorado Ski Country USA. “For only $10, card holders get one day of free skiing at three of Colorado’s classic resorts. That kind of value is hard to come by these days.”

Some of the programs that GEMS Card holders can take advantage of include:
· Free lift tickets to three GEM resorts
· Two for one lift tickets at four GEM resorts
· Discounted lift tickets at six GEM resorts

There are nine resorts in Colorado that are referred to as GEMS: Arapahoe Basin, Eldora, Loveland Ski Area, Monarch Mountain, Powderhorn Resort, Ski Cooper, SolVista Basin, Sunlight Mountain Resort, and new to the GEMS program for the 2008-09 season is Echo Mountain.

No other ski pass in Colorado gives so much for so little. For more information or to purchase a GEMS card please visit ShopColoradoSki.com. Cards are available now and will be mailed to purchasers in September.
